Snakes
New York is home to three poisonous snakes; Copperheads, Timber Rattlesnakes, and the Eastern Massasauga. However, you are more likely to be struck by lightning than to find one of these snakes in your home. Snakes are exothermic or “cold blooded”, meaning they maintain their body temperature by their surroundings. Thus, they usually enter your home to find relief from the elements during the hot summer months and the cold winter months. Unlike most nuisance wildlife, snakes generally tend to be regarded with fear even by the boldest souls. Have us put your mind at ease and be the snake charmer you’ve been looking for!
